 Alaska Adventure Cabins Packages 

If you would like to add some activities to your stay in Homer please check the boxes next to what interests you and we will arrange a package to suit you.

We are working with Seaman's Adventures to provide you with a wide variety of local activities.

1. We Really Love to Fish!!  
For visitors who really love to fish and really want to experience Kachemak Bay's world reknown fishing. Fishing trips always provide side benefits of sightseeing and wildlife viewing. Examples of day-trips might include:

  • full-day of halibut fishing  ($200 pp/$180 with discount)
  • full-day morning salmon fishing, with some shore-based Dolly Varden fishing and lunch on the beach ($200 pp/$180 w/discount)
  • full-day halibut and rockfish fishing to the outer coast ($240 pp/$216 w/discount)
  • full-day salmon fishing trip in Kachemak Bay, targeting kings and/or silvers ($200 pp/$180 w/discount)
  • full-day halibut/salmon fishing combo ($240 pp/$216 w/discount)

2. We Want a Variety of Experiences  (Multi-day)
Say you love to fish, but you really want to experience some of the other great recreational opportunities in Homer? Consider a package involving the following activities:

  • full-day halibut fishing, or combo with salmon ($200 pp/$180 w/discount)
  • full-day wildlife/sightseeing/history tour in Kachemak Bay ($150 pp/$135 w/discount)
  • full-day, including half-day hike to Grewingk Lake, cruise of Halibut Cove, with stop on-shore in the Cove ($150pp/$135 w/discount)
  • half-day wildlife/history tour of Halibut Cove, with brief stop on shore in Halibut Cove ($120 pp/$108 w/discount)
  • guided full-day hiking on Sadie Ridge or Grace Ridge, including a stop at Otter Cove for lunch or dinner ($150 pp/$135w/discount)

3. Wildlife Viewing and Sightseeing, With a Touch of History 
If your are primarily interested in viewing wildlife and scenery, yet would like to learn about the history of the area, we will share information about the history of the bay as we cruise the bay or hike the south-side trails.  We suggest you consider some of the trips under 3 above.  We will orient our trips to see some historical sites, and talk about the history of the bay.  Pricing, based on four person minimum, is $150 pp for one or two days or less, or $135 pp w/discount for bookings of three or more days. 

4. Fascinated with Cultural History and Wildlife 
If recent and cultural history is what interests you, may wish consider a trip to the inner bay (east of Homer Spit/Gull Island), outer bay, and possibly a trip to the outer coast. Trips may include a stop a the beach. Sample trips may include:

  • full-day coastal tour, from Bear Cove to Gull Island, with stop for lunch on the beach or a barbeque off the back of the boat in a protected cove ($150 pp/$135 w/discount)
  • full-day coastal tour, from Eldridge Passage to Seldovia, with lunch ($150 pp/$135 w/discount)
  • half-day wildlife/cultural history tour of Halibut Cove with stop in Halibut Cove ($120 pp/$108 pp w/discount)
  • full-day trip to the outer coast from Port Chatham to Port Graham

On outer coast trips, drop offs are available after July 15th to village of Port Graham. Activities would include a stay or one or more nights at J&L Scenic Adventures, with optional village tours and scenic/wildlife viewing side trips.

5. Tidepooling Special, Then Some ...
 
We try save the best low (negative) tides for visitors interested in tidepooling, or an exploration of Kachemak Bay's diverse rocky intertidal beaches. Tidepooling makes a great combination with wildlife viewing, cultural history, a half-day hike, a picnic on the beach or a boat, or a stop at a southside restaurant at the community of Seldovia to make an enjoyable, educational, and relaxing trip. Pricing, based on four person minimum, is $150 pp for one or two days or less, or $135 pp w/discount for bookings of three or more days. 

6. Love to Hike, And Explore the Park 
If hiking is your passion, we can work with you to provide a variety of guided trips in the Kachemak Bay State Park and Wilderness Area. See the Day Trip section that could be combined to develop a trip that best meets your needs, interests, and abilities. Also, please contact us for a list and further information on the hikes that are available.
